Ebor Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust serving children aged 2 to 16. It is our aspiration to develop geographical hubs of schools that share our values.

Patrington CE Primary Academy, part of Ebor Academy Trust, has an exciting opportunity to be part of our team of Teaching Assistants.

We are looking for people with a minimum Level 2 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification. In addition, you will have a passion for working with young people and a desire to develop a career in this field.

Within the roles you will work under the direction of the class teacher, SENCO or member of the School’s Management Team, undertaking pre-planned work and using your initiative to enable pupils to access learning activity. Working in partnership with teaching staff in the school, you will enable access to learning for pupils whilst assisting the teacher in the management of pupils.

We are looking for people who are passionate about teaching and learning, who believe in developing the true potential of all our children. You will have a calm and positive disposition, will have the ability to break down activities into small step teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils. Implementing clear boundaries and routines, you will use behaviour management in all areas around school.

In return we can offer you enthusiastic and motivated learners, a proactive governing body and supportive parents and carers. With a clearly-focused and committed leadership team, you will have the opportunity to make a difference within a caring and supportive working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing Academy Trust which offers excellent, long term career development and to help provide an inclusive environment in which all children are encouraged to become responsible for themselves, their learning and their behaviour.

Our central aim is to enable all children and staff to develop as aspirational learners and leaders who strive to reach their goals and achieve their potential.
