We are currently looking to recruit a significant number of relief Teachers, to cover on an "as and when" basis when other staff are absent. These roles could cover any number of schools across the Trust, according to where staff would like to work. The locations we have are; York, Selby, Scarborough, Filey, Hull or the East Riding.
An enthusiastic and passionate Teacher, you will facilitate and encourage learning which enables students to achieve high standards. Using teaching methods which keep pupils engaged and stimulating their intellectual curiosity, you will identify clear teaching objectives, content and lesson structures, setting appropriate expectations for their learning and motivation.
With a passion to work with children and excellent teaching skills, you will have the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support others, and will be able to encourage children to use cooperative learning strategies.
Highly skilled at planning and delivering challenging lessons suitable for all abilities and creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom, you must have a passion to inspire children regardless of their background and be an exceptional teacher with a focus on achieving excellent pupil attainment.
Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
As well as being an ideal way to make some extra cash, relief work can also be a great way to secure similar work of a longer term or even permanent nature.
We offer our relief staff the same rates of pay and terms and conditions as our permanent staff, so you would enjoy membership of our staff rewards scheme, offering you savings on your high street shopping and access to wellbeing services, as well as update training.
