The Ebor Academy Trust is a family of 24 schools serving children aged 2 to 16.
We are currently looking to recruit a significant number of relief Cleaners, to cover on an "as and when" basis when other staff are absent. These roles could cover any number of schools across the Trust, according to where staff would like to work. The locations we have are; York, Selby, Scarborough, Filey, Hull or the East Riding.
In the role you will provide a good quality cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school, resulting in a clean and healthy environment for pupils and staff. The day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Whilst experience of cleaning either domestic or commercial property would be an advantage, full training will be given. You must, however, have a commitment to applying Health and Safety principles in your work and also to safeguarding children
Knowledge of COSHH and the safe use of chemicals and equipment would be an advantage, as would experience of cleaning in a school or similar working environment.
Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
