Passionate about development, Ebor has training programmes for NQTs, RQTs and aspiring leaders. Having schools of varying sizes across our Hubs allows us to offer job opportunities to staff so they can achieve their career plans without the need for leaving us as their employer.
If you would like to work in the classroom, helping children learn but do not want to teach, a Teaching Assistant position could be for you. The Trust employs Teaching Assistants at various levels to operate under the direction of a class teacher to undertake work, care and support programmes, so that pupils can access learning and help the teacher in classroom management. Some Teaching Assistants work specifically with children with special education needs. Training programmes for Teaching Assistants are available to enable them to progress through the various job levels and for many, such positions do provide a route into Teacher training.
If you are seeking part time work and enjoy organising children’s play, then we’d love to hear from you. Most of our schools need playworkers to oversee their breakfast clubs, lunchtimes and after school care, so a variety of contracts are often available.
Ensuring that our schools are safe, clean and generally fit for purpose is our facilities team. If you are interested in a cleaning or caretaking position, we would love to hear from you! As our schools are grouped into Hubs we offer development opportunities for caretakers to become Hub Site Managers, covering a group of schools. We particularly welcome people with experience in trades such as building, joinery, carpentry, electrical or plumbing.
