Ebor Academy Trust is a rapidly growing, multi-academy Trust with schools throughout North and East Yorkshire and the Humber, grouped together in Hubs.

We are now seeking to recruit additional Clerks to service a small number of individual academies' governing bodies in the York area.  The role of the Clerk is to provide advice on governance, constitutional and procedural matters relating to the school and will involve servicing meetings of its governing body, including issuing agenda and taking minutes of meetings.  Applicants should have excellent organisational and administrative skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have experience of providing administrative services - preferably clerking - to formal bodies.  Additionally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate impartiality and the ability to work confidentially, as well as being able to commit to evening meetings as required by their schools.

It is envisaged that each Clerk will be given two or three schools within York to work with.  Each school will have six meetings a year which will require clerking services and each meeting will attract eight hours pay.
